1. Use of the Platform

Rayse Learning connects learners with qualified tutors who offer language coaching in English, Kiswahili, and French.
By using our platform, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate personal information.
  • Use the site for lawful purposes.
  • Communicate respectfully with tutors and learners.

Rayse Learning reserves the right to suspend accounts that violate these conditions.


2. Lesson Bookings

  • All lessons must be booked through the Rayse Learning platform.
  • Lesson schedules, durations, and pricing are displayed clearly before checkout.
  • Tutors are responsible for conducting lessons at the agreed time.
  • Learners are responsible for attending lessons on time.

3. Payments

  • All payments are made in advance via the available payment methods (e.g., MPesa, card payments).
  • Lesson fees may vary depending on tutor qualifications and experience.
  • Payment confirms your agreement to these Terms & Conditions.

4. Cancellation & Rescheduling

  • Learners may request rescheduling directly with the tutor, subject to tutor availability.
  • Learners may also cancel a class, but must do so at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled time.
  • Refunds for cancellations initiated by the learner will only be processed if reported to Rayse Learning Hub by the learner within 14 days of the cancellation. A 10% cancellation fee will apply.
  • Tutors who need to reschedule must notify learners in advance.

5. Refund Policy

Rayse Learning offers refunds only under specific circumstances:

5.1 Eligibility for Refunds

Refunds are issued only if a scheduled lesson does not take place due to a tutor-related issue or system error.
Lessons that were successfully completed are not eligible for refunds.

5.2 Reporting a Missed Lesson

If a lesson does not occur, the learner must report the issue within 14 days of the scheduled date.
Requests made after 14 days cannot be processed.

5.3 Proof of Payment

All refund requests must include valid proof of payment, such as:

  • MPesa confirmation
  • Bank transfer receipt
  • Card transaction statement
  • Digital payment record

Refund processing may be delayed or denied if proof of payment is not provided.


6. Tutor Responsibilities

Tutors agree to:

  • Deliver lessons professionally and on time.
  • Maintain accurate availability on their profiles.
  • Communicate clearly with learners.
  • Uphold respectful and appropriate conduct at all times.

Rayse Learning may suspend tutors who fail to comply.


7. Learner Responsibilities

Learners agree to:

  • Show up on time for lessons.
  • Communicate respectfully with tutors.
  • Use the platform solely for learning purposes.
  • Avoid sharing inappropriate, offensive, or harmful content.

8. Limitation of Liability

Rayse Learning is not responsible for:

  • Internet or connectivity problems experienced by users.
  • Technical issues caused by external platforms (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.).
  • Any personal arrangements made outside the platform.

We do not guarantee language proficiency outcomes, as progress depends on learner effort and consistency.


9. Privacy & Data Protection

Rayse Learning values your privacy.
We collect only the data necessary to operate the platform and do not sell or share your personal information with third parties without consent.

10. Changes to Terms & Conditions

Rayse Learning reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time.
Changes will be posted on the website, and continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
